Alycia Debnam-Carey is a star of TV shows like Fear the Walking Dead. Alycia Debnam-Carey was born and raised in Sydney and started her acting career as a child at the age of eight. Martha's New Coat short film that she was a part of it, was her debut film role. Her appearance was in an early episode of McLeod's Daugher. Her debut major role was a recurring character on the sci fi television series The 100. The show was based on a novel which had the same title The 100 was a remake of a television show. The character she played was Commander Lexa who was a formidable commander for 12 clans. Her popularity increased further due to her character on Fear the Walking Dead, the horror-themed TV show. The show received a positive review by critics, and also received numerous nominations and awards. Jigsaw Girl, The Branch and other shorts also included her. Her first film role was as a lead in the disaster film made from found footage production Into the Storm. Although the film was not well received by reviewers, it was able to do extremely well on the level of commercial performance.
